Analyse how media institutions are using different platforms to engage with their audiences.
Media institutions can use many different platforms such as facebook, twitter, instagram, snapchat, and tik tok. There are many different followers on each of the platform because not many people view all of these platforms. Many people will just have one or two that they mainly use. Many institutions know this and that's why they post in so many places. For example, in a the video game industry people don't have enough time to look at all of these social medias to find news about their game. They probably only have 1 area where they look. When a video game makes and update that game wants everyone to know how awesome this update will be. Then there are comments where the majority of institutions talk and get feedback from there audiences. Maybe there are many things wrong with the games new update so the company can find out very fast because pf all the different platforms they can engage on. If there is a very well known franchise in video games than its very difficult for a company to see all of the feedback. Since there are many different platforms that people can talk on, it sort of shrinks how many comments are on one social media. I know in gun games such as call of duty many people complain about how not all guns are balanced, so they talk about it on social media and if there is a lot of people also talking about it then the franchize will go and fix the gun to make it more fair for everyone. Also in a sports game such as madden NFL there can be many glitches such as if a receiver is wide open they will just drop the ball even though it would have been caught right away. Then this will be brought to social media and get fixed fast. On social media in video game there are more people complaining about the game then giving the makers credit. This is just because many people don't like drastic changes. In conclusion many people can have an impact on how video games work and also how the game feels. This is all due to the fact that social media lets institutions engage with their audience
REVIEW
Break up the writing into paragraphs. Capitalized the titles of games and companies. Give specific examples on how games are engaged by audiences via different platforms. You may include your opinion, but feedback by audiences is not the only part of the engagement by the audience. Need to include access, playing, and how that is done through the different platforms.
